Dr. Michael Brown (Sort of) Approves of These "Fine Christians..." Watch at your Own Risk!

CAUTION: This is a very disturbing video. This is what happens when the false gospel of Dominionism/ Signs & Wonders/New Apostolic Reformation replaces the real Gospel of Christ and Him Crucified for the forgiveness of sins. This is a compilation video featuring Heidi and Rolland Baker and their fellow "New Apostolic Reformation" friends: Bill and Beni Johnson (links to all the complete videos are at the bottom of this page):

Recently, in an exchange on his Facebook page, Dr. Michael Brown was challenged (by Steven Kozar, Chris Rice, @Aspree and others) to call out these false teachers in order to protect his listeners from their very bad doctrine. False teachers like Jennifer LeClaire, Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson and Benny Hinn. Nobody suggested that Dr. Brown personally attack these people, but simply compare their teachings to Scripture. He repeatedly refused. Strangely,  he did not fully endorse them; instead he used vague generalizations like "as far as I know these are fine Christians."  Dr. Brown wants to be respected as a very knowledgeable scholar and expert, but he continually expresses ignorance about the people and teachings from within his very own movement. Dr. Brown promotes these people on his own radio show, and he's been a guest on Benny Hinn's TV show.

Here are a few screen shots where Dr. Michael Brown (vaguely) supports these people and says "the greater error I see is what some folks are posting here, sad to say."

Dr. Brown got really upset when I mentioned Heidi Baker along with other known NAR false teachers (he responded to my comment, but then deleted my comment, before he deleted the entire post):

Here's some of the exchange between @Aspree and Dr. Brown:

Dr. Michael Brown is using "straw man" arguments and other logical fallacies along with obvious deflection techniques.

Our hope is that these shocking videos (featuring the very people he clearly supports) will eventually cause he and his many followers to see what's really going on within the "New Apostolic Reformation/Hyper-Charismatic/Signs & Wonders" movement.

Here's where you can see the videos for yourself. You will discover that we did not "take things out of context" or "make it look like they said something they didn't really say." Please do your homework:

Jennifer LeClaire's Hypocritical Goofy Prophetic Pimping

Jennifer LeClaire is guilty of rank hypocrisy. On May 5, 2017 she was interviewed by Michael Brown on his show The Line of Fire.

Michael Brown asked Jennifer about her greatest concerns and encouragements concerning current trends in the charismatic movement. LeClaire said that honestly her greatest concerns have to do with some camps in the movement. She spoke against the goofy stuff going on, people using the prophetic for merchandising, people pimping for money, and people giving false prophetic utterances. LeClaire said all of that greatly concerns her.

She then said God spoke into her heart about a year ago concerning those things, and told her to speak directly into it. LeClaire said God told her to operate in the "true prophetic" and to model integrity.  LeClaire has not followed the directions God supposedly gave her. You can listen to that segment of the interview below. (On a side note, when did the word "prophetic" become an open-ended adjective that could be placed in front of any word in order to justify any new teaching and sell stuff?)

LeClaire is guilty of the rankest of hypocrisy. I'll give an example of blatant merchandising and pimping first, and then an example of the goofy.

In November of 2016 she claimed God gave her an urgent prophecy about Angels of the Abundant Harvest. She stated the prophecy was urgent, profound, and the body of Christ needed to hear it. Yet in order to hear the full prophecy, you had to purchase the book.

Posting things online is easy. If someone really believes God has an urgent message for the church, shouldn't they just post the entire thing online, for free?? That way most everyone can read and receive such an urgent word. The fact that you had to fork over money in order to receive the full urgent "word from God" proves LeClaire is involved in rank hypocrisy, and is engaged in prophetic merchandising and pimping, even though she claims God told her to speak against it. You can read the full account of her hypocrisy here.

Even though LeClaire claims God told her to speak against goofy things, she engages in really goofy things. On February 23, 2017 she wrote an article for Charisma titled When the Sneaky Squid Spirit Starts Stalking You

There is nothing in the Bible about a Sneaky Squid Spirit capable of stalking you. Some may suggest it's valid because the Bible doesn't speak against such a thing. If that is the litmus test for what's real concerning spiritual matters, then what's to stop someone from saying there is a stuffed animal owl named Steve who wants to fill your mind with songs by Barry Manilow and then drag your soul into Hades?

"Steve"

"Steve"

Here's another post about Jennifer LeClaire trying to sell ridiculous "prophetic" music CDs: Dream Wild Mashup: Prophetic Words, Songs and Declarations by Jennifer LeClaire

Here's a post where Jennifer LeClaire duplicates the exact same teachings that New Age pagans teach: Jennifer LeClaire Claims New Age "Angels of Transition" Will Save America?

Jennifer LeClaire is a goofy, merchandising, "prophetic" pimp of the highest order. She's not the face of some shadowy minor segment in the charismatic movement. She's literally a front and center influential face in the movement because she's the senior editor of Charisma magazine.

(screen shot from LeClaire's blog)

(screen shot from LeClaire's blog)

People justifying this nonsense need a set of fresh eyes, and they need to repent. Jennifer LeClaire isn't part of a small percentage of people in the movement who get magnified by bored bloggers (as Dr. Michael Brown would have you believe). She is a prominent leader within the movement. People should be ashamed of themselves for overlooking or trying to normalize this cancer that's attempting to identify with Christianity.

Here's a long list of charismatic leaders who actually endorse Jennifer LeClaire:

Michael Brown Can't Defend "Sneaky Squid Spirit"-Repeatedly Changes the Subject

As he always does, Michael Brown says he wants to hear the thoughts of callers so he can "have a conversation," but he interrupts Chris Rosebrough and totally changes the topic and turns this into a domineering diatribe to prop up his favorite hyper-charismatic doctrines. Brown fully supports crazy false teachers like Jennifer LeClaire, but becomes very ambiguous whenever he's confronted with the facts. He will not look into a single idiotic false prophecy from LeClaire or anybody else. He never does any actual research on the people he supports; people like Rick Joyner, Bill Johnson and Jennifer LeClaire. He's a hyper-charismatic cheerleader with a big microphone and a very gullible audience.

Here's a recording of the exchange he had with Pastor Rosebrough on his live radio show on May 5, 2017. Notice how many times he interrupts and changes the subject. Notice how he pretends to just barely remember that he talked to Chris Rosebrough about the New Apostolic Reformation last year. Notice how the guy who controls the microphone controls the conversation. This is how you dominate and control others, while wanting to appear fair and reasonable:

If Dr. Michael Brown was serious about clamping down on all of the crazy, blasphemous nonsense in his beloved hyper-charismatic/Signs & Wonders/New Apostolic Reformation movement, he would take an afternoon and listen to the twisting of scripture and false prophecies that happen every single day within his own fold, and then he would actually confront it. But he never does. And, it appears, he never will. He admits that crazy stuff happens in his movement, but he always describes it as a rare occurrence that comes from the most extreme fringe members. But he is right in the middle of the whole thing, propping it up, day in and day out.

Here's Michael Brown making a guest appearance on (complete fraud and heretic) Benny Hinn's show:

Here's Michael Brown "having a conversation" with Phil Johnson in 2013 (notice how he interrupts and continually avoids the discussion of false teachers in his own movement):

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

— 1 John 4: 1

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

God Might Know Trump is a Bigamist

Vonda Brewer (a.k.a. the "Nagging Prophetess") seems to be saying that God told her President Donald Trump is a bigamist with a child, but God is not quite sure about it.

CAUTION! If you watch the following video you can never get your eighteen minutes back:

She couches her word from God in a lot of uncertainty, probably because of her previous epic dump Trump fail.

She claims God gave her permission to release this video, and that it's revelation from God.

Yet she couches this direct revelation from God in the language of uncertainty, by couching it with the word allegedly. Vonda says what she's saying isn't true until it's proven to be true.

She even claims someone contacted her and gave confirmation on her supposed vision.

So you have God giving and confirming a vision, and giving permission to release a video that may or may not be true?

This lacks any coherency whatsoever. Vonda is trying to have both certainty and uncertainty.

Not only does she lack any coherency, at one point in the video she starts talking about Ivanka and Melania's undergarments.

God doesn't hedge his bets. When he gives direct prophetic revelation, you can count on it. Who does hedge their prophetic bets? Failed false prophetesses who are trying to give themselves cover.

Of course, this "prophetess" is as phony as a three dollar bill, but these same confusing and idiotic forms of "teaching" are used by superstars Mike Bickle, Bill Johnson and everyone else in the New Apostolic Reformation

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

What if You're the Sneaky Squid? Jennifer LeClaire's Advice for Failed Prophets

Jennifer LeClaire Senior Editor of Charisma Magazine wrote about the Sneaky Squid Spirit, which was also covered in this blog. What happens if you end up being a Sneaky Squid Spirit? What if you are a failed prophet who totally bamboozles someone with a false prophecy? LeClaire took some time on Facebook to give her "sage" wisdom.

If anyone is going to be an expert on false prophecy it's certainly someone like LeClaire who invents ridiculous things like the "Sneaky Squid Spirit." LeClaire is an expert regarding false prophecy, in fact, she does it really well. In this video she tells people who invented things in their head ("prophetic words") to ask the Holy Spirit to give them guidance when their prophetic words are false, but she doesn't direct them to God's Word for truth, instead she tells them to go back into their faulty and cloudy minds to hear from God.

LeClaire tells false prophets to repent, and that's good advice, but only partially. Scripture is very clear on prophets. You're either an accurate prophet, or you're a false prophet. There are no Bible verses encouraging anyone to give false prophetic words over and over until you eventually get it right.

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or[f] who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
— Deut 18: 20-22
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

                                                                                                                                                                   — 1 Corinthians 14: 33

“An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?”

                                                                                                                                                                       — Jeremiah 5: 30-31

“And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.”

                                                                                                                                                                              — Ezekiel 22: 28

“Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity
to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading.”

                                                                                                                                                                   — Lamentations 2: 14

“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

                                                                                                                                                                             — Matthew 24: 24

If you give a false prophecy you simply need to repent, and stop it. Don't take the "sage wisdom" of someone like LeClaire, even if she is the Senior Editor of a magazine. Take it straight from scripture. If you fail at prophecy, then you're simply a false prophet.

Which of These Crazy Quotes Did Jennifer LeClaire NOT Say?

"Step Into the Healing Flow and Receive God's Will for Your Life!" -Jennifer LeClaire

These false teachers are part of The New Apostolic Reformation

For those who think it's mean, judgmental and unloving to criticize Jennifer LeClaire (or any other popular teacher/prophet) here's something just for you: Shocking Stuff You're Not Supposed to Know.

Jennifer LeClaire Writes New Inspired Scripture?

Jennifer LeClaire's new book Mornings With the Holy Spirit With Journal: Listening Daily to the Still, Small Voice of God, appears to be new scripture based on the book's description on Amazon.com.

Mornings With the Holy Spirit with Journal is a daily devotional written as if the Holy Spirit is speaking directly to you. Through her personal journaling during times of worship, prayer, and just everyday living, Jennifer LeClaire has recorded the words the Holy Spirit has given her. Each entry includes a brief word from the Holy Spirit, relevant Scripture references, a prayer, and lines for recording God’s personal message to the reader.
— Amazon.com book description of Jennifer LeClaire's book Mornings With the Holy Spirit With Journal: Listening Daily to the Still, Small Voice of God

1. Written "as if" the Holy Spirit is speaking directly to you.
2. Recorded the words the Holy Spirit has given her.
3. A brief word from the Holy Spirit.

That is not the description of a quaint personal reflection devotional. The claims above put this book on the same level as scripture. Words spoken by the Holy Spirit, directly to you, carry the weight of scripture. That means if you don't believe every "word from God" in this book, and disobey the "words", you are in fact disbelieving God and failing to obey God

Keep in mind, this is the same person who told us to beware of the sneaky squid spirit.

LeClaire is also the same person who claimed to have important direct revelation for the church, but instead of just publishing it free online, she held it ransom, so you had to purchase her book about Angels of Abundant Harvest.

Jennifer LeClaire has a clear history of saying nutty things, and using supposed "direct revelation" from God to put money in her bank account, instead of simply sharing it freely for the edification of the church.

Her latest book is about as inspired as The Trump Coloring Book.

Anointed Cake Saves Gay, Atheist, Bar Owner Says Lance Wallnau

What should you do if you know a gay atheist who owned a bar and has a severe chip on his shoulder about Christianity? Most Christians within the bounds of orthodoxy would suggest praying for him, sharing scripture, and inviting him to church. But when you're a nutty seven mountains mandate guru entrenched in the NAR, you might suggest praying over a cake, potentially expecting God to use it as a means of grace.

Listen to Lance Wallnau, seven mountains mandate guru, and major NAR influencer share a testimony about an apparent gay atheist bar owner who was converted through an anointed cake.

You can view the nuttiness in its entirety here.

Listen to Chris Rosebrough talk about this theological train wreck on this episode of Fighting for the Faith: "Anointed Cake That Cures Homosexuality?"

You're Not a Christian If You Dislike the Shack?

Did you know the litmus test for your very salvation could now be based on if you like or dislike The Shack?

Donald Woods, the Chief Spiritual Officer of The R Factor Ministries said on Facebook that perceptions of The Shack have created a new dividing line. (The quote below is reformatted for ease of reading; although it's still pretty incoherent and full of odd capitalizations.)

THE SHACK:

We are in a Season of many Dividing Lines in the Sand [that same Sand that Jesus drew a Line in when People wanted to stone a Prostitute].

This Movie is one of those dividing lines! It reminds me of the United States Election; people strongly poised on one side or the other! One of the most illuminating observations in these latest seasons is how the Church is being divided into Two Categories:

1) The Religious, living by the Letter of the Law that Kills.

2) The Relational, living by the Spirit that gives Life. It reminds me of the TWO PENTECOSTS:

The First Covenant Pentecost, fifty days after the Passover, God gave the People the Law written on Stone, at Mount Sinai - Three Thousand People Died!

The Second Covenant Pentecost, fifty days after the Cross, God poured out His Spirit in the Upper Room, at Mount Zion - Three Thousand People Received Eternal Life! The Letter of the Law Kills, but the Spirit gives Life!

Now, if you are RELIGIOUS (meaning you live by the Letter over the Spirit) you will probably not like the Movie “The Shack”.

If you are RELATIONAL (meaning that your walk with God is built on a Personal Intimate Relationship) you will probably Love this Movie! For those who want a glimpse of the Unseen World of the Trinity - Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, this movie gives you a Visual of how they can interrelate in your life while here on Earth.

I personally Love how this movie is based on “All Good Things come Down from the Father of Lights,” and we are the Lights! The Foundation of this Movie is built on the Goodness of God, as a Loving Father, and that Nothing can Separate us from the Love of God! Also how Healing comes through Forgiveness - God wants to Heal what we are willing to Reveal.

I Learned from this Movie, that I am not the Judge, and that God is, and that I need to be looking at People from His Perspective, which is Heaven’s Perspective; then participating in bringing Heaven to Earth!

This Posting is not a Judgement, it is an Observation, you can decide what side of the Line you are on - that is between You and God. God is Love, and that Love at its highest Form, will break open any Shell that tries to keep us Imprisoned!
I personally recommend this Movie to see as many times as you can, because there are many Spiritual Layers that God can Speak through, that can be Unraveled or Revealed to our Hearts!
— Donald Woods

Donald Woods is very clear in his dividing line. If you like The Shack, then you're living on the side of the dividing line which lives according to the Spirit. We know scripture clearly tells us in Romans 8:9 that if someone does not have the Spirit, they do not belong to God.

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
— Romans 8:9 (ESV)

The implications of this new dividing line are weighty, whether he understands the implications or not. Who knew so much hinged on your perception of one movie?

Lance Wallnau, the NAR "Seven Mountains" guru gave the post from Woods some credibility on Facebook.

So, Donald Woods is not judging you, but... if you don't like The Shack you're judgmental, religious and living by the "letter" and not by the "Spirit." What that phrase is distorted to mean is this: "Don't get too fussy about following the Bible, instead you should live by the Spirit." This is a complete misunderstanding of living by the Spirit; it's a way of saying that charismatic Christians have a more direct line straight to God that "regular" Christians don't have. "Regular" Christians only have the Bible according to this teaching, but "Spirit lead" (charismatic) Christians don't have much need for the Bible, because they have direct access to God through their feelings, impressions and experiences. So these "Spirit lead" Christians (who claim to have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus) end up promoting this very unbiblical book: The Shack. Read about how William Paul Young has proven his great disdain for the Bible and Christianity itself in his brand new book: "Lies We Believe About God."

These "super spiritual" Christians have proven that they don't really believe and trust in God's Word, so they will gladly accept another book that tickles their ears with half-truths and outright blasphemy. Read more about this: Shocking Stuff You're Not Supposed to Know!!

Dream Wild Mashup: Prophetic Words, Songs and Declarations by Jennifer LeClaire

This is NOT satire, this is real:

Jennifer LeClaire is actually trying to sell CDs of this useless "prophetic" drivel, accompanied by some music. Her website says this: "This is a CD of prophetic words, sounds and decrees that defy impossibilities." Huh? Wouldn't it have been more honest to say: "This is a CD of various catch-phrases and slogans, accompanied by music. Jennifer LeClaire wants more money."

Real musicians are often making their entire albums available for FREE on various music websites, like Bandcamp and Soundcloud; but Jennifer puts this video of short samples on YouTube, without allowing anyone to hear the whole thing. Wait... this CD is a prophetic "word from God" but you need to send LeClaire $15.00 if you want to hear it??

No thanks, Jennifer, we've got the actual Word of God.

Las Vegas Rooster Ushers in Cock Crowing Watch 2017 - Chuck Pierce

Did you know we're in the beginning of a Cock Crowing Watch right here in February of 2017? Would you be shocked it was ushered in by a rooster Chuck Pierce saw while he was in Las Vegas?

If you're shocked, you obviously don't know the ramblings of Chuck Pierce. Apparently Chuck was ministering in Vegas and saw some lanterns and roosters.

Thank you for praying for me this past month. My schedule was very demanding, but the Lord has showed Himself strong at every turn. While I was ministering in Las Vegas, I noticed the lanterns and the roosters. I then realized that in the Chinese culture, this is the year of the rooster. I said to Lord, “Is there anything I need to see in this?” He immediately spoke to me and said, “This is the time for the ‘COCK CROWING WATCH’! There are certain demonic forces that can only be displaced by doing this watch.
— Chuck Pierce

This is another, in an endless chain of life restoration schemes dreamt up in the vain imaginations of false prophets like Chuck Pierce. Over and over again, something really important comes down the prophetic pipeline, and everyone is supposed to pay attention to the latest "word from God." If these restoration schemes actually worked, there would never be a need for another restoration scheme.

The Spirit of God is saying, “Do not be afraid to go back down to that place where you were held in the valley. The valley, or the place where you have had confined vision, is losing its strength. I have a people that are getting ready to journey and come up to the place of ‘seeing’ where I reveal Myself in a new way. Not only will you see Me, but you will see your desires upon your enemy. If you will go back to the valley, you will find what was captured and the treasures that have been hidden.
— Chuck Pierce
Truly the power of My Name is at hand. The gifts in you that have lain dormant will arise as you ascend with Me, and you will have the power to RECOVER ALL.
— Chuck Pierce

Chuck Pierce is a failed prophet. He keeps broken and hurting people addicted to his false prophecies by promising restorations that never come true. Gambling your money away in Vegas is unwise, and gambling your hopes on this false prophecy ushered in by a rooster in Vegas is just silly.

Even though he's a failed prophet, he has climbed the ladder in the kingdom of the NAR's lunacy. In August of 2010, C. Peter Wagner, the pope of the NAR for all intents and purposes, handed over control of Global Harvest Ministries to Chuck Pierce. Instead of continuing GHM, Pierce started Global Spheres, Inc. (GSI), "a new wineskin for apostolic alignment." Chuck is described as the president of this new apostolic wineskin incorporation. He is an incoherent, babbling man. He is not an Apostle.

This is Peter Wagner with a very important and exciting message. On my 80th birthday, August 15, 2010, I officially turned GHM over to Chuck Pierce of Denton, Texas. Instead of continuing GHM, Chuck organized Global Spheres, Inc. (GSI), a new wineskin for apostolic alignment which will carry Doris and me into the future. Chuck is President and I am Apostolic Ambassador. As a part of this transition, we have closed the GHM website, and transferred our material to the GSI website. Please click on Global Spheres and you will now find what used to be on GHM website.
May God bless you and prosper you in every way!

C. Peter Wagner, Apostolic Ambassador
Global Spheres, Inc.
— C. Peter Wagner

Chuck Pierce appears to be the leader of the NAR. So the head of all of the apostles is now receiving "prophetic" messages that are triggered by roosters he sees in Las Vegas. Do we really need to say more?

God "Knocked You Up" and You Might Not Know It!

In a recent post on Facebook Shawn Bolz seems to be suggesting that God has "knocked people up" and they don't know it yet.

Of course his post links to his worthless book "Keys to Heaven's Economy," so people can figure out how to get "the fruit of our womb."

The book promotion page says, "The Lord’s audible voice filled the room, introducing the angel standing before me: “Welcome the Minister of Finance for the Kingdom.”

Does the Bible mention anything about such an angel? Of course it does not.

The only thing getting "knocked up" here is your wallet.

By the way, Bolz displays real originality with his book title/cover:

"Amphetamine" Apostle Ryan LeStrange Worships at Altar of Innovation

The "Amphetamine" Apostle Ryan LeStrange (because he speaks as if he's always hopped up on amphetamines) worships at the idol of innovation. In a recent tirade on Facebook he ranted against the evils of the "religious" as he explained his goals as an "apostle." (The video begins with an equally frantic and meaningless "word" from Johnathan Stidham.)

LeStrange believes modern "apostles" are "breaker people." He has even created an anointing called the BAM anointing (Breaker Anointing Manifesting). He believes we must speak in a new language, use new paradigms, as we have new adventures in the spirit.

LeStrange speaks negatively of "religious" people because they like tradition and continuity. Lestrange's desire to break tradition and continuity, and innovate new paradigms and new adventures in the spirit is a huge sign he's actually not an apostle.

The New Testament speaks highly of continuity and tradition.

In Acts we see the church continuing steadfastly in the apostle's doctrine:

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
— Acts 2:42

2 Thessalonians instructs us to stand fast, and hold to the traditions of the apostles:

So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.
— 2 Thessalonians 2:15

1 John instructs us to abide in what was heard from the beginning, and that there isn't a need for a new and innovative teaching:

As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you. As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
— 1 John 2:24-27

Paul instructs Timothy to teach no other doctrine than what the apostles taught:

As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine
— 1 Timothy 1:3

"Apostle" LeStrange proves he is anything but an apostle as he worships at the altar of innovation. Instead of holding to the continuity of the real apostles, his BAM anointing attempts to break continuity.

Our remaining sinful nature will tempt us to become bored with the unchangeable doctrines of God, This sinful bent toward boredom can tempt us to seek something new and innovative. Let's remember this temptation just leads to death as we become bound to new traditions of men. The unchangeable should not leave us feeling bored, instead it should lead us to dig our roots in deeper, recognizing that the unchangeable is the true source of life.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
— Colossians 2:6-8

The Rolland Baker Spectacle of False Teaching, Forced Laughter and Blasphemy!

Here's a video of excerpts from Rolland Baker's (the husband of Heidi Baker) recent appearance at Glory City Church in Australia:

This guy is trying way too hard to make things funny:

If you want to really ruin your day, you can watch the entire spectacle (start at about 1:24:10 into the video to just see Rolland Baker):

Jennifer LeClaire Claims New Age "Angels of Transition" Will Save America?

We are witnessing the merging of New Age channeling and false prophetic pronouncements from Charismaniacs, who have once again reached deep into their Charismania Adjective Grab Bag to give their latest vain imagination an air of credibility.

The Charismania Adjective Grab Bag has a simple formula. First, come up with a vain imagination and claim it's from God. Second, pin a legitimate Bible word to it. Third, reach deep into your bag of adjectives, and feel around for a correct sounding adjective. If you need a little help with ideas, the demons are more than happy to plant words in your head; or if you are a New Age channeler, you would say that you have "telepathic communication from Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides."

Jennifer LeClaire, senior editor of Charisma, has basically duplicated ideas from a New Age channeler. A recent article at Charisma News tells us LeClaire has released angels of transition over America, in order to create a POTUS Shield (we are not making this up).

Wow! Where does Jennifer LeClaire get these ideas from?? "Angels of Transition" is not in the Bible, but...  maybe she's just using ideas from New Age Channeler, Cynthia Silk? Cynthia gets her messages directly from her "Angelic Channeler" and she talks about Angels of Transition just like Jennifer LeClaire! Here's a screenshot from Cynthia Silk's website:

Where in the Bible does it tell us there are "angels of transition?" Where in the Bible does it tell us we can "release angels?"  NOWHERE!! These are 100% PAGAN ideas and practises.

In the article Jennifer LeClaire goes on to tell us that the Holy Spirit told her a kingdom would be toppled, and that she saw it with her own eyes.

LeClaire tags unbiblical charismaniac adjectives to her vain imagination concerning angels, and in the past she's claimed to have received vital prophetic revelation for the church, but held the prophecy for ransom until you purchased her book.

Should we really trust the "revelations" of this person who peddles God for profit as she attempts to validate her vain imaginations with words she pulls out of her Charismania Adjective Grab Bag? Is it even possible that the Holy Spirit is giving these so-called prophetic words to Jennifer LeClaire and New Age psychic Cynthia Silk? Of course not!

There is more...

They started something called POTUS Shield to create a serious prophetic and prayer shield over parts of the government. A prayer event was held at the National Press Club, including dominionist NARpostles like Lance Wallnau and Lou Engle.

Around the time Lou Engle was praying, a guy is seen using his selfie stick as others continue to pray around him. Is this a form of NARcissism? This is "Christian Grandstanding" with "Celebrity Super Apostles."

Many of these narcissistic, money grubbing, charismaniac and NAR leaders are fawning over Trump. Maybe because they see a fellow lover of money much like themselves reflected in Trump? Narcissists do love to look at their own reflection.

So what's the purpose of pointing all of this out? Is it an exercise in getting our blood boiling for no reason?

No.

Ultimately the purpose is to lead people away from these false teachers who enjoy the sound of their own voice way too much. We should have nothing to do with New Age ideas and bloviating "Christian" celebrities! People need to be brought back to Jesus, the Gospel, and into being firmly rooted in Christ, and not in the vain imaginations of "prophets" who peddle their "Christian fortune telling" as the voice of God.

Paula White's Cognitive Dissonance on Human Suffering Needs a Breakthrough

Paula White-Cain, the senior "pastor" of New Destiny Christian Center needs a major breakthrough when it comes to her cognitive dissonance on human suffering. Two recent Facebook posts leave us wondering if she ever did a connect the dots exercise in elementary school.

Below she seems to show empathy and understanding for a woman suffering from an extreme issue of facial bumps.

But then she tells people to simply declare their breakthrough.

This really highlights the lack of depth in the prosperity "gospel" movement. They don't have answers for human suffering. Their understanding of human suffering is about half the breadth of a frog hair, and their ability to provide comfort and a complete perspective on human suffering leaves the hurting hanging in the breeze speaking forth powerless declarations.

The suffering need more than snake oil to sooth pain created by the serpent. They need a comprehensive biblical theology that lets them know the Savior who crushed the serpent's head is always near despite this present suffering they experience.

Doug Addison Announces New Revelation from God-Sells Last Year's Prophecy at a Discount

"Doug Addison is a prophetic speaker, author, Life Coach and stand-up comedian" according to his online biography.

He also claims to have the inside track to God. This meme shows the level of Doug's extra-special superty-duperty knowledge. He is directing people to their own vain imaginations and to his website. He is NOT directing people to the true Word of God; instead, he is deliberately causing people to avoid it.

And for the truly desperate and deceived, there's this:

There's less than a month left in 2016 and Addison is still trying to make a few more bucks off of his utterly useless book of predictions for 2016. He's gotta clear off space on his shelves before he publishes the "2017 Book of Worthless Christian Fortune Telling."

Instead of selling these idiotic books at a steep discount, why doesn't he tell everyone about all the stuff that came true since he published them 11 months ago?? He could sell a boatload of the 2017 Edition just by demonstrating all of the wonderful things that were accomplished since the 2016 Edition was published and sold.

Doug Addison, what kind of God do you serve? You teach that this God is giving confusing and conflicting messages to his people, instead of the one and only Holy Bible that never changes. And we're supposed to believe that God gives special messages directly to you, and then you get to make money by charging people for it??

"Prophetic" Mystery Meat - Shawn Bolz Needs a Lifeline

Prophets don’t usually need help from their audience, that is unless you’re Shawn Bolz. He began a recent “prophecy” by saying. . .

“Let’s try this out.”
“Sometimes my words land really strongly.”
“It’s like a game show, I need your help.”

When your prophet prefaces his prophecy with words that make it sound like a science experiment, and he calls on you for help, and is basically using you as a lifeline, chances are, your prophet is not a real prophet.

This prophecy is like a hamburger you’d get at a cheap fast food joint. It clearly has some filler, and is not the pure word of God. He mixes it with his own sense of uncertainty, audience participation, and random guessing. This is what a fortune teller does. He’s serving up prophetic mystery meat.

God’s real prophets did not need lifelines. They didn’t act like it was a science experiment. God gave them the direct word and they spoke it.

We don’t need a diet of prophetic mystery meat when God’s word to us is already in the Bible.

The Swiss Army Knife Anointing - 5 Signs You May Have It

How do you know if you have The Swiss Army Knife anointing? Doug Addison says we'll all have The Swiss Army Knife anointing this season. (What season is he referring to? Halloween?)

Remember folks, God can't equip you, unless you believe He is equipping you. (But if you post a cheesy stock photo and make claims that don't exist in the Bible... well, you might be Doug Addison.)

What is The Swiss Army Knife anointing, you ask? How do you know if you have it? How do you know you have something that isn't even in the scripture? Below are five signs you may have it.

1. Lime green and yellow swag.

You may wake up one morning wearing lime green and yellow hipster swag. The lady above has a real neato-mosquito lime green (Or some bright shade of green...) knit hat. Your Swiss Army Knife anointing ensemble will come with a delightful yellow sweater and green hipster glasses.

2. Strong desire to be crammed into a drawer.

Maybe if you have a strong desire to be crammed into a drawer, never to be used, then you'll know you have this anointing? Because I have a Swiss Army Knife, and I never use it, it's actually crammed into a drawer.

3. Strong desire to be an unused corkscrew.

Possibly if part of your consciousness feels like a corkscrew that will never be used to open a bottle of wine, then maybe, just maybe then you'll know you have this anointing? Does anyone really use the corkscrew on a Swiss Army Knife to open a bottle of wine?

4. You fear being replaced by a discounted knockoff of yourself.

Swiss Army Knives are really pricy, and admit it, you've seen the discounted knockoff versions at your local drug store. I also own two of those, that I never use.

5. You think you're a three inch saw capable of doing major lumberjack work.

Like the corkscrew, is anyone really going to use the little saw to do major lumberjack work? Probably not.

And this absurd list is just as absurd as creating an anointing that isn't even listed in scripture.
