Choose to Serve Positive Thinking per Joshua 24:15 - Victoria Osteen

Victoria Osteen transformed Joshua 24:15 into a call to serve positive thinking. Instead of a call to turn from the Devil, sin, and self, and turn toward God, she spritzed the Bible with the Osteen doctrine of positive thinking and ends up calling people to serve the idol of positive thinking. This "Christless Christianity" has no need for a Savior who redeems us, instead, it makes our determined and deliberate decision-making into another god.

Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
— Joshua 24: 14-15

The Osteens and Lakewood Church teach the Word of Faith false doctrine; please read more about it here:

Seinfeld "Sermon" Inspires Andy Stanley-NOT The Bible

Andy Stanley is trying to be clever (or something), when he begins his new "sermon" series by saying he got the idea of "Pack Your Bags" from a Jerry Seinfeld routine. He acts like it's no big deal to ignore God's Word and base his teaching on whatever he wants. In this "sermon," he eventually gets around to quoting a few Bible verses, but it's just window dressing on (yet another) motivational speech.

"No Gospel for you!"

This man is supposed to be the best of the best: his church has tens of thousands of attendees; his ideas are implemented by thousands of pastors; his books are a reference for many Christian leaders... and yet he blathers on about almost anything but the Word of God. Watch this 6 minute clip and contrast it to the Apostle Paul saying "I preach Christ and Him crucified." If you're really brave and want to waste even more time, listen to this entire (painful) "sermon" about how to do more and try harder here (you'll even get to watch a dramatic intro video about a duffle bag!)...

God is Fun - Say Bye Bye to Reverence and Hello Ragtime Quartet

Element Church believes a core doctrine about God is that he's fun. A practical application of this doctrine is to toss out any sense of fear, awe, and reverence during an official Sunday worship service, and replace it with a worthless cheesy ragtime quartet of dads named The Ragtime Dads.

The idea that church needs to "be fun" in order to attract people is the result of a number of different flawed ideas: The Seeker-Friendly, Purpose-Driven Cornucopia of False Doctrine

Prophetess Patricia King Approves of Eliphaz and God Does Not Approve

Self proclaimed prophetess Patricia King recently cited Eliphaz as a source of truth. The problem is that God said his wrath was kindled against Eliphaz because he didn't speak what was right concerning God.

She cites Job 22: 28. If you go to the beginning of the passage, you see that Eliphaz is speaking:

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said: “Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself. Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are in the right, or is it gain to him if you make your ways blameless?
— Job 22: 1-3 (ESV)

"Prophetess" Patricia King views him as a source of truth. What does God have to say about Eliphaz? Look at Job 42:7

After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.
— Job 42: 7 (ESV)

God's wrath was kindled against Eliphaz because he had not spoken what was right concerning God.

The whole basis for Patricia King's "decreeing and declaring" rests on someone God wasn't really happy with. The false teaching that says we can "decree and declare" (or "speak") things into existence comes from the Word of Faith movement-not the Bible.

Amazingly, attributing the power of God to humans is a form of blasphemy. Only the sovereign God of the Universe can do that! On top of that, believing you can speak things into existence is a practice from witchcraft-not from the Bible!

For those of you who think it's mean and unloving to criticize Patricia King (or any other popular teacher) here's a list of Bible verses to consider: Shocking Stuff You're Not Supposed to Know.

Carbonated Favor from God - Apostle Melvin Thompson III

Apostle Melvin Thompson III believes God gave him double for his distress because he received two sodas for the price of one from a malfunctioning vending machine.

What about the vending machine owner? He lost profit. Shouldn't an apostle of Jesus possibly find a way to give the vending machine owner his money back instead of claiming an extra soda as a sign of God's favor?

Apostle Axel Sippach claims Thompson as a son. In a Facebook post he promotes supposed downloads from heaven received during messages with Thompson.

Aren't you glad these "Apostles" know about the realm of heavenly blessings given through malfunctioning vending machines?

Rest assured, if you have a huge series of troubles and distresses in life, God will be sure to double it by giving you a free soda from a broken vending machine. If you're a vending machine owner, just consider any lost profits as a sign God has opened a heavenly portal in your business and is blessing people with free carbonated beverages.

Jeff Jansen Receives Supernatural 50 Carat Ruby from Angel

From the Sid Roth's It's Supernatural Facebook livestream, here's a tall tale that would make Huckleberry Finn blush, this is a "behind the scenes" video of Jeff Jansen telling Sid Roth about another one of his angelic encounters:

By the way, the charismatic cheerleader (and "serious scholar") Dr. Michael Brown approves of Sid Roth.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’
— Matthew 7: 22-23
For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
— Mathew 24: 24
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
— 2 Peter 2: 1-3
Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
— 2 Thessalonians 2: 8-12

Here is something that Jeff Jansen and Sid Roth DON'T want you to read: Shocking Stuff You're Not Supposed to Know!!

Trump is Infallible? Don't Second Guess President Trump says Steve Strang CEO of Charisma Magazine

"Don't second guess President Donald Trump," said Steve Strang founder and CEO of Charisma Media\Magazine. While appearing on The Jim Bakker Show on June 6, 2017 and commenting on President Trump he said people need to have a spiritual perspective regarding President Trump, he then followed that by telling his listeners not to second guess President Trump. You can listen to the clip below, followed by the full statement from Strang.

Let that sink in. The CEO and founder of a major charismatic media outlet just told us that the spiritual thing to do is not to "second guess President Trump." He's practically declaring President Trump infallible.

Apparently President Trump can do anything and we can't have a discerning or critical eye on him; this is what happens when Christians try to turn political leaders into spiritual leaders by relying on extra-Biblical "prophetic" pronouncements about the constantly shifting seats of earthly power. Almighty God has not given us His opinion about Donald Trump, but hyper-charismatics like Steve Strang believe they speak authoritatively on God's behalf.

It's alarming for someone with such a major influence to call on people to blindly follow a leader with so much power. Such an ignorant call gives the appearance that Christians must willingly consent even if a leader is evil.

Steve Strang has made an idol of a man, and brought reproach on the cause of Christ by calling Christians to follow President Trump blindly.

Christians Should Study Trump Prophecies to Rightly Divide Word of God says Jim Bakker

As Jim Bakker was peddling Mark Taylor and Mary Colbert's book The Trump Prophecies on The Jim Bakker Show on June 6, 2017 he directed his audience to read the book because scripture tells us to study to show ourselves approved, so we can rightly divide the word of truth.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
— 2 Timothy 2:15

Yes, Jim Bakker just put a (worthless, money-generating) "prophetic" book on the same level as Holy Scripture. Christians everywhere must now purchase this book and study it so they can rightly divide the word of God, that is, if Jim Bakker is correct...

(Of course Jim Bakker is not correct, so don't buy or study this worthless, money-generating book.)

The "Word of the Lord" for June 2017 Is......

Sooooo, apparently the Holy Spirit wants us to know what His word is for June. But we're not exactly sure what that word is. Here are some of the competing words of the Lord for June 2017 however none of them are even remotely the same.

How one goes about determining which of these words is THE word of the Lord for June evades us for the moment. Maybe we can use dice or play Roshambo.

In the meantime, grab your Fighting for the Faith Prophecy Bingo Card and let's see what the "prophets" are saying for June 2017

The Word of the Lord for June is "increase of people..."

Or, maybe the Word of the Lord for June is "authorized..."

Or, the Word of the Lord for June is "get ready for visitation..."

Or, the Word of the Lord for June is "hold on, the Lord is adding finishing touches..."

Or, the Word of the Lord for June is "there's a straight road so you can accelerate..."

Or, the Word of the Lord for June is "Happy New Year..."

Or, the Word of the Lord for June is "The rapture on (or around) June 7, 2017...

Anointed Belly and Back Stomps - Prophetess Mattie Nottage

What should you do if you're a prophetess and your two red glory cloths protected by angels still can't deliver the full impact of God's anointing? Prophetess Mattie Nottage may suggest delivering some firm foot stomps to the belly or back of people privileged enough to come within the domain of such  red glory cloths.

Check out the "anointed" stomps of the "prophetess" below, along with other clearly not anointed nonsense on her so called red glory cloths.

You can watch the original version in its entirety below

Fortunately, God has not yet instructed Prophetess Mattie to wear high heels for this spiritual endeavor...

Steven Furtick Ad-libs "Worship" Song About Perry Noble

Steven Furtick ad-libbed a worship song about Perry Noble while introducing him after an emotionally charged time of worship.

Furtick said there was a word from God in the house, and then he broke out into a worship style ad-libbed song about Perry Noble. They spent a good time worshipping God with energy, then so easily transitioned into singing a song about Perry Noble. Are things really about God at Elevation Church, or more about using God as a ruse to praise men and pump egos?

Prophetic Teasing? - Jennifer LeClaire Jazzes Up the "Oracles of God"

Did you know the oracles of God need some teasing out? You know, a little suspense to get attention, because the living and active word of God isn't powerful enough on its own.

Jennifer LeClaire believes God told her a new MEGA prayer movement will be started June 4th, 2017 on Pentecost Sunday. She spoke of how she's been teasing out this latest revelation on a recent Facebook video.

Why do the oracles of God need teasing out? During the full video she acts as if she let the cat out of the bag beforehand. This is all really confusing and absurd.

Why would she even hint at a word God gave her, if God told her not to release it? Why would she retain a full word from the body of Christ if God told her to give it? Why is she treating the oracles of God like a consumer product that needs teasing out?

The answer to all of the above is because Jennifer LeClaire isn't speaking forth any oracles of God. It's her job to keep a constant stream of fresh "revelations" so her followers can keep being tossed about by every wind and wave she blows upon the body of Christ. She keeps her followers off balance with a constant stream of  nonsense. It's hard to call her on her Sneaky Squid Spirit fail, when one is distracted by some new absurdity.

Dr. Michael Brown (Sort of) Approves of These "Fine Christians..." Watch at your Own Risk!

CAUTION: This is a very disturbing video. This is what happens when the false gospel of Dominionism/ Signs & Wonders/New Apostolic Reformation replaces the real Gospel of Christ and Him Crucified for the forgiveness of sins. This is a compilation video featuring Heidi and Rolland Baker and their fellow "New Apostolic Reformation" friends: Bill and Beni Johnson (links to all the complete videos are at the bottom of this page):

Recently, in an exchange on his Facebook page, Dr. Michael Brown was challenged (by Steven Kozar, Chris Rice, Amy Spreeman and others) to call out these false teachers in order to protect his listeners from their very bad doctrine. False teachers like Jennifer LeClaire, Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson and Benny Hinn. Nobody suggested that Dr. Brown personally attack these people, but simply compare their teachings to Scripture. He repeatedly refused. Strangely,  he did not fully endorse them; instead he used vague generalizations like "as far as I know these are fine Christians."  Dr. Brown wants to be respected as a very knowledgeable scholar and expert, but he continually expresses ignorance about the people and teachings from within his very own movement. Dr. Brown promotes these people on his own radio show, and he's been a guest on Benny Hinn's TV show.

Here are a few screen shots where Dr. Michael Brown (vaguely) supports these people and says "the greater error I see is what some folks are posting here, sad to say."

Dr. Brown got really upset when I mentioned Heidi Baker along with other known NAR false teachers (he responded to my comment, but then deleted my comment, before he deleted the entire post):

Here's some of the exchange between Amy Spreeman and Dr. Brown:

Dr. Michael Brown is using "straw man" arguments and other logical fallacies along with obvious deflection techniques.

Our hope is that these shocking videos (featuring the very people he clearly supports) will eventually cause he and his many followers to see what's really going on within the "New Apostolic Reformation/Hyper-Charismatic/Signs & Wonders" movement.

Here's where you can see the videos for yourself. You will discover that we did not "take things out of context" or "make it look like they said something they didn't really say." Please do your homework:

Furtick's Ego Survives Entire Sermon Without Crowd Triggered Endorphin Rush?

Did Steven Furtick’s ego and central nervous system survive an entire sermon without an audience triggered endorphin rush?

Before preaching on Coming Out of the DroughtSteven Furtick said he wanted to commit to teaching, and not engage in any hollering or wild stuff during his sermon. Could his ego survive a calm audience? How would his central nervous system react to an audience not pumping his system full of endorphins every two minutes? Did Furtick even live up to his commitment? Take a look below and decide for yourself. (We think, perhaps, this is just another method of whipping his adoring fans into another Sunday morning frenzy...)

Jennifer LeClaire's Hypocritical Goofy Prophetic Pimping

Jennifer LeClaire is guilty of rank hypocrisy. On May 5, 2017 she was interviewed by Michael Brown on his show The Line of Fire.

Michael Brown asked Jennifer about her greatest concerns and encouragements concerning current trends in the charismatic movement. LeClaire said that honestly her greatest concerns have to do with some camps in the movement. She spoke against the goofy stuff going on, people using the prophetic for merchandising, people pimping for money, and people giving false prophetic utterances. LeClaire said all of that greatly concerns her.

She then said God spoke into her heart about a year ago concerning those things, and told her to speak directly into it. LeClaire said God told her to operate in the "true prophetic" and to model integrity.  LeClaire has not followed the directions God supposedly gave her. You can listen to that segment of the interview below. (On a side note, when did the word "prophetic" become an open-ended adjective that could be placed in front of any word in order to justify any new teaching and sell stuff?)

LeClaire is guilty of the rankest of hypocrisy. I'll give an example of blatant merchandising and pimping first, and then an example of the goofy.

In November of 2016 she claimed God gave her an urgent prophecy about Angels of the Abundant Harvest. She stated the prophecy was urgent, profound, and the body of Christ needed to hear it. Yet in order to hear the full prophecy, you had to purchase the book.

Posting things online is easy. If someone really believes God has an urgent message for the church, shouldn't they just post the entire thing online, for free?? That way most everyone can read and receive such an urgent word. The fact that you had to fork over money in order to receive the full urgent "word from God" proves LeClaire is involved in rank hypocrisy, and is engaged in prophetic merchandising and pimping, even though she claims God told her to speak against it. You can read the full account of her hypocrisy here.

Even though LeClaire claims God told her to speak against goofy things, she engages in really goofy things. On February 23, 2017 she wrote an article for Charisma titled When the Sneaky Squid Spirit Starts Stalking You

There is nothing in the Bible about a Sneaky Squid Spirit capable of stalking you. Some may suggest it's valid because the Bible doesn't speak against such a thing. If that is the litmus test for what's real concerning spiritual matters, then what's to stop someone from saying there is a stuffed animal owl named Steve who wants to fill your mind with songs by Barry Manilow and then drag your soul into Hades?

"Steve"

"Steve"

Here's another post about Jennifer LeClaire trying to sell ridiculous "prophetic" music CDs: Dream Wild Mashup: Prophetic Words, Songs and Declarations by Jennifer LeClaire

Here's a post where Jennifer LeClaire duplicates the exact same teachings that New Age pagans teach: Jennifer LeClaire Claims New Age "Angels of Transition" Will Save America?

Jennifer LeClaire is a goofy, merchandising, "prophetic" pimp of the highest order. She's not the face of some shadowy minor segment in the charismatic movement. She's literally a front and center influential face in the movement because she's the senior editor of Charisma magazine.

(screen shot from LeClaire's blog)

(screen shot from LeClaire's blog)

People justifying this nonsense need a set of fresh eyes, and they need to repent. Jennifer LeClaire isn't part of a small percentage of people in the movement who get magnified by bored bloggers (as Dr. Michael Brown would have you believe). She is a prominent leader within the movement. People should be ashamed of themselves for overlooking or trying to normalize this cancer that's attempting to identify with Christianity.

Absolutely Bizarre "Sermon" Promo Video from Life.Church

We can just let this bizarre video speak for itself:

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
— 1 Corinthians 1: 20-25

Michael Brown Can't Defend "Sneaky Squid Spirit"-Repeatedly Changes the Subject

As he always does, Michael Brown says he wants to hear the thoughts of callers so he can "have a conversation," but he interrupts Chris Rosebrough and totally changes the topic and turns this into a domineering diatribe to prop up his favorite hyper-charismatic doctrines. Brown fully supports crazy false teachers like Jennifer LeClaire, but becomes very ambiguous whenever he's confronted with the facts. He will not look into a single idiotic false prophecy from LeClaire or anybody else. He never does any actual research on the people he supports; people like Rick Joyner, Bill Johnson and Jennifer LeClaire. He's a hyper-charismatic cheerleader with a big microphone and a very gullible audience.

Here's a recording of the exchange he had with Pastor Rosebrough on his live radio show on May 5, 2017. Notice how many times he interrupts and changes the subject. Notice how he pretends to just barely remember that he talked to Chris Rosebrough about the New Apostolic Reformation last year. Notice how the guy who controls the microphone controls the conversation. This is how you dominate and control others, while wanting to appear fair and reasonable:

If Dr. Michael Brown was serious about clamping down on all of the crazy, blasphemous nonsense in his beloved hyper-charismatic/Signs & Wonders/New Apostolic Reformation movement, he would take an afternoon and listen to the twisting of scripture and false prophecies that happen every single day within his own fold, and then he would actually confront it. But he never does. And, it appears, he never will. He admits that crazy stuff happens in his movement, but he always describes it as a rare occurrence that comes from the most extreme fringe members. But he is right in the middle of the whole thing, propping it up, day in and day out.

Here's Michael Brown making a guest appearance on (complete fraud and heretic) Benny Hinn's show:

Here's Michael Brown "having a conversation" with Phil Johnson in 2013 (notice how he interrupts and continually avoids the discussion of false teachers in his own movement):
