Dr. Michael Brown Thinks Private Jets SAVE Money

If you buy a jet for millions and millions of dollars you can save a lot of money… This is NOT satire, this is something that Dr. Michael Brown actually seems to believe.

After a two-minute Google search we learned that bus fare is cheaper than air fare. Wow! The things you can learn by doing a tiny amount of research! I guess if you want to learn something you shouldn’t Ask Dr. Brown…

So, using the lowest annual cost of $700,000 and dividing it by 12 months the cost to operate a jet is at least $58,333.33 per month. That comes to $1,944.44 per DAY. A more expensive jet would cost $5,000 to $10,000 per DAY. If Kenneth Copeland bought a new ticket every single day, he would have to spend at least $1,944.44 on each ticket to equal the cost of running one private jet, and that doesn’t even figure in the cost of actually purchasing the jet.

Kenneth Copeland owns 3 jets.

Dr. Michael Brown is not good at mathematics. Do not Ask Dr. Brown about these things.

dollar-2387088_1920.jpg

Postscript: A number of people have suggested that the correct meaning of Dr. Brown’s tweet is more like this: airfare is more expensive than bus fare and yet it’s still okay for a minister to take a commercial flight, so why isn’t taking a privately-owned jet also okay?

Hmmm. That could be what Dr. Brown meant.

If that’s the way Dr. Brown intended it to be read, I apologize for mischaracterizing his tweet in that regard.

However, Dr. Brown’s conclusion is still a terrible one. Spending millions and millions of dollars on private planes to fly around in luxury for personal pleasure is what Kenneth Copeland is doing. Everybody can see what kind of manipulative and greedy man he is, and only the truly deluded believe he’s got three private jets to “spread the Gospel.”

Furthermore, Dr. Brown makes a huge mistake by teaching that an executive of a large corporation is in the same category as a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ. If a business executive can purchase and use a private jet it’s because he’s got money available from his own company for that purpose! Kenneth Copeland takes money from donations and treats himself to earthly pleasure at the expense of foolish people who send him money, often because they’ve been taught that giving to Copeland will cause God to shower them with money as well. This is really sick and twisted and Dr. Brown doesn’t seem to care.

Here is a critique of Dr. Michael Brown’s latest attempt to justify the “frugality” of owning a private jet:

Here are Kenneth Copeland and his mentor, Oral Roberts, making it 100% clear that they LOVE MONEY. Oral laughingly says (at :57 seconds in) “Silver and gold have we plenty” as Kenneth Copeland yells out “hallelujah!” This is a demonic reversal of the words in Acts 3:6, where the Apostle Peter said “silver and gold have I none.” Dr. Michael Brown will never watch this video. He will never watch any video, ever. Go ahead and try to send it to him. Dr. Brown, I KNOW that you will see this article. You are covering up the greedy, sinful, and blasphemous Kenneth Copeland. Shame on you.

Kenneth Copeland loves his airplane collection because he loves worldly wealth and possessions.

Here's what Jesus said about earthly riches:

Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Matthew 13: 22  "The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful."

Mark 8:34-37  "Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?"

Luke 12:32-34  “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Luke 16:13-14 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things, and they were scoffing at Him.”

Here's what the Apostle Paul said about preachers getting rich and the sin of greed:

2 Corinthians 2:17  “Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.”

1 Timothy 6:5, 9-11  “...and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. (9) But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. (10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things.

1 Corinthians 5:11-13  "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of a brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler-not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those on the outside. Remove the evil person from among you."

Titus 1:7-11  “For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain.”

Here's what James has to say about earthly wealth:

James 1:9-10  "But let the brother of humble circumstances glory in his high position; and let the rich man glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away."

James 5:1-3  "Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure!"

Here's what the Apostle Peter said about preachers getting rich:

2 Peter 2:1-3  “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.”

Here’s the Apostle Peter making it very clear that he was NOT wealthy:

Acts 3:5-7 “And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, ‘I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!’ And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.”

Here's what the book of Hebrews says about getting rich and earthly success:

Hebrews 11:13-16  "These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city."

Hebrews 11:32-40  "And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak,  Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets-who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated-of whom the world was not worthy-wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect."

Hebrews 13:5  “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”

Here's what the Apostle John says about getting rich:

1 John 2:15-17 "Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions-is not from the Father but is from the world. And this world is fading away, along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

Here's what Jesus says in the Book of Revelation:

Revelation 3:16-19 "So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent."

Kenneth Copeland and Oral Roberts Brag About Being RICH

Here's one of the founders of the Word of Faith/Prosperity Gospel, Oral Roberts, bragging and laughing about the great riches that he and Kenneth Copeland enjoy; then watch the aging and unrepentant Copeland fail to heal anyone at a healing service:

Dr. Michael Brown's Citizenship in Sid Roth-Iscam

Screen Shot 2018-03-10 at 5.22.26 PM.png

Have you heard of the country called Sid Roth-Iscam? It's a very special place, where only a select few can become citizens. Sid Roth-Iscam is where weak and vulnerable travelers lose their money and dignity, as the royal citizenry enrich themselves through fraud and deceit.

Dr. Michael Brown has proven his citizenry in this land. Here is a short video that explains the qualifications necessary to become a citizen of this land:

Thanks to Is Not Satire!

Remember, Dr. Michael Brown has publicly validated the "ministry" of his good friend, Sid Roth:

You Can Unlock the Supernatural from the Courts of Heaven! (For $139.00)

Got an extra $139 laying around? The Apostle Robert Henderson will grant you permission to:

Unlock the Supernatural from the Courts of Heaven!

And if you think this is gonna be just another flakey conference don't worry, this conference features some heavyweight theologians like: Patricia King, Che Ahn, Randy Clark, Mark Chironna (who is sporting a new scholarly-looking beard and a cool Bill Johnson-style shirt!) and The Apostle Robert Henderson himself.

RELEASING_5.jpg

Here's the Apostle Robert Henderson talking about how to get rich-oops, I mean unlocking wealth... but I'll save you the 28 minutes of worthless blathering. Wanna get rich? Charge a bunch of people $139 to "unlock the supernatural from the courts of heaven!"

By the way, if this sounds like the prosperity gospel to you, don't worry about it, because Dr. Michael Brown says it's not!

Paula White Blathers on for Almost Seven Minutes; Basically Wants More Money

Screen Shot 2018-01-09 at 8.37.12 PM.png

Scholars of the Old and New Testament are currently debating the exact content of this important new video from Paula White-Cain, but the current consensus is that she wants people to send her a LOT of money. This would appear to comply with every other time she has had anything to say. Paula has a clever name for this "you should send me money" theology: First Fruits.

Although some may describe this as a sickening and deplorable money grab, it's important to remember that she promises to send donors of $50 or more some useless books about something or other.

Here's the video:

Here's what the Apostle Paul said about preachers getting rich:

2 Corinthians 2:17  “Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.”

1 Timothy 6:5, 9-10  “...and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. Matthew 6:24  “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Luke 6:20-26  And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep. Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets."

Here's what the Apostle Peter says about preachers getting rich:

2 Peter 2:1-3  “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Todd White: How Much Money Does He Actually Make?

Here's a link to the Form 990 for Todd White's Lifestyle Christianity "charity" from 2015. A Form 990 is something that ministries/charities are required to file, and that information is open to the public.

Todd White, as President of Lifestyle Christianity, made $625,000!!

When you give money to this "charity" you're largely putting money into Todd White's pocket; Lifestyle Christianity IS Todd White. In 2015 Lifestyle Christianity had revenue of $1,521,776.00; so around 40% of all donations go directly to Todd's gigantic paycheck. It's interesting to note that total revenue was $496,407.00 in 2014, so Todd saw a million dollar increase from the year before-that's 300% growth. Who knows how much money he's raking in this year?

It would be much more honest if this was simply organized as a business. Todd White is a professional speaker who gets paid very well to make speeches. But Todd White is buying a gigantic $19 million church, and churches are not required to file a Form 990. Is Todd White trying to hide his future income?

Shocking Stuff You're Not Supposed to Know!

Kris Vallotton Inspired by Sylvester Stallone’s Survival by Doing a Porn Movie

vallottonlead11122017a.jpg

Kris Vallotton the Senior Associate Leader at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and cofounder of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry said he found inspiration from Sylvester Stallone doing a porn movie to survive financially.

On 11-11-2017 Kris Vallotton shared a video from the Millionaire’s Sayings page on his own Facebook page. The video describes Sylvester Stallone’s struggles to succeed. In the video we’re told Stallone was so poor he did a porn movie to earn money. Kris Vallotton said he found this inspiring.

I believe there’s an inner power that makes winners or losers. And the winners are the ones who really listen to the truth of their hearts.
— Sylvester Stallone
The heart is more deceitful than all else, and is desperately sick; Who can understand it?
— Jeremiah 17:9
Stallone11122017.jpg

This is what happens when we esteem success over Christ: We end up finding inspiration in someone selling their body for sex. It shouldn’t surprise us that someone would esteem success over Jesus. Isaiah told us this would happen.

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief
and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
— Isaiah 53:3

Todd White and Kenneth Copeland: Prosperity Pimps (Like the Apostle Paul)

Todd White has a new fund-raising video for his $19 million property acquisition, and he's holding back the tears as he fawns over Word of Faith superstar, Kenneth Copeland, his "mentor and spiritual father." Notice how Kenneth Copeland compares not giving to Todd White to be as unthinkable as not giving to the Apostle Paul:

Kenneth Copeland is 100% clear about it: Christians are supposed to be RICH.

Depraved Copeland Sets Satanic Snare for Christians

According to scripture Kenneth Copeland has a depraved mind, and sets snares for the destruction of Christians because he teaches that godliness is a means of gain.

Eagle Mountain Church posted this quote from Kenneth Copeland to their Facebook page.

“You get spiritually rich, you’ll get financially rich!”

Scripture warns us about people like Kenneth Copeland. He’s described as setting a snare for Christians that can lead to ruin and destruction. Such teaching is described as coming from a depraved mind, thinking that godliness is a means of gain. Scripture tells us godliness with contentment is great gain.

If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
— 1 Timothy 6: 3-10

Copeland’s appeal to the desires of the flesh sets a snare for the soul. We must run away from these snares. Copeland and those like him erect frivolous idols in our hearts. Those teaching and following this doctrine must call upon God and ask to be granted repentance.

Kenneth Copeland is the false teacher of false teachers. If there was a "Hall of Fame" for filthy rich godless charlatans, he would get the best spot. Yet, there are many today who still consider him a true Christian minister. Take a look at this "conference of heretics" and be sure to mark and avoid every person listed:

$1000 to Get Hair and Nails Done: "God Made it That Way" says John Gray

A wife should be given $1000 from her husband to get her hair and nails done because God made it that way. Who would even dare assert something like that? What venue would allow such a speaker?

T.D. Jakes held MegaFest 2017 and had John Gray as a speaker. Gray is an associate pastor at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church. Osteen is author of Your Best Life Now, so it's not a stretch to believe the associate pastor under Osteen could tell all of Christendom that God wants a husband to give his wife $1000 to get her hair and nails done.

T.D. Jakes posted this video of John Gray speaking at MegaFest 2017.

What kind of world are these people living in where you just toss $1000 at your wife to get her hair and nails done? This points to the excess of their lifestyle, often at the fleecing of their own flock and followers. All done in the name of Jesus of course.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians about how he was hungry, thirsty, poorly clothed, and homeless.

To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.
— 1 Corinthians 4: 11-13

What advice would he have given to the Corinthian church?

Greetings my dear fellow believers; some of us might be poorly dressed, hungry and homeless, but nonetheless, husbands be sure to spend a few bucket loads of denarii so your wives can get their nails and hair done. God made it that way.

Yours truly, The Apostle Paul
— 1 Hesitations 1: 9

Messages like these promoted by T.D. Jakes and John Gray grossly misrepresent Christianity. Instead of crucifying the flesh, they feed it mammon on steroids.

Carbonated Favor from God - Apostle Melvin Thompson III

Apostle Melvin Thompson III believes God gave him double for his distress because he received two sodas for the price of one from a malfunctioning vending machine.

What about the vending machine owner? He lost profit. Shouldn't an apostle of Jesus possibly find a way to give the vending machine owner his money back instead of claiming an extra soda as a sign of God's favor?

Apostle Axel Sippach claims Thompson as a son. In a Facebook post he promotes supposed downloads from heaven received during messages with Thompson.

Aren't you glad these "Apostles" know about the realm of heavenly blessings given through malfunctioning vending machines?

Rest assured, if you have a huge series of troubles and distresses in life, God will be sure to double it by giving you a free soda from a broken vending machine. If you're a vending machine owner, just consider any lost profits as a sign God has opened a heavenly portal in your business and is blessing people with free carbonated beverages.

Jeff Jansen Receives Supernatural 50 Carat Ruby from Angel

From the Sid Roth's It's Supernatural Facebook livestream, here's a tall tale that would make Huckleberry Finn blush, this is a "behind the scenes" video of Jeff Jansen telling Sid Roth about another one of his angelic encounters:

By the way, the charismatic cheerleader (and "serious scholar") Dr. Michael Brown approves of Sid Roth.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’
— Matthew 7: 22-23
For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
— Mathew 24: 24
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
— 2 Peter 2: 1-3
Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
— 2 Thessalonians 2: 8-12

Need Victory? Don't Pray, Flaunt Your Riches - SEER 1 (Prophet Anointed Andrew)

Would you expect an anointed prophet of God to tell you not to pray, but rather to flaunt your riches in order to gain victory? "Prophet" Anointed Andrew also known as SEER1 is the prophet for you if your answer is yes.

A recent Facebook post encourages his followers not to pray, but instead to dress well if they want victory over their enemies.

Why get on your knees and seek strength from Christ in your time of weakness? Seek peace in prayer to guard your heart and mind? No way! Just put on your best watch, best shoes, and dangle the keys to your fancy car, that's all you need.

6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)

Who are we to listen to? Our "anointed" SEER1? Scripture?

SHOCKING REVELATION! Adam Smarter than God, Asserts Jesse Duplantis

Did you know the all knowing God created animals but didn't know what he created? According to Jesse Duplantis Adam knew more about animals than God did, and Adam even breathed life into the animals.

This is so absurd it shouldn't need to be addressed, but I'll address it. God created the animals before he created man. The animals were already described as living before Adam came on the scene. You can read about it in Genesis 1:20-31. Romans 11:34 says no one has ever counseled God, so the idea that God didn't know what he created is a huge load of nonsense.

Such heresy stems from a word of faith belief system that has man on the throne bossing God around with decrees. It's no wonder such a man-centered theology has the creation being smarter and more powerful than the creator.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
— Romans 1:24-25 (ESV)

Customized Blasphemy - "Apostle" Kelly's Customized Holy Ghost White Cadillac

In scripture Paul wrote of his struggles as an apostle. He described how he hungered, thirsted, was poorly dressed, buffeted, and homeless (1 Corinthians 4:11). Apostle John P. Kelly has a much different experience.

Biblical apostles reference the Holy Ghost in relation to the things of salvation. False super apostles view the third person of the Trinity as an amazing adjective to describe the paint color on their customized Cadillac.

A few days before the customized blasphemy post, "apostle" Kelly posted what looked to be a rebuke to modern day "apostles".

I can't see real apostles using the Holy Ghost as an adjective for a customized Cadillac paint color. On the other hand, I can see money grubbing, glory seeking "apostles" doing such a thing.

Lakewood Church: "Stand Up for False Prophecy, Sit Down for God's Word"

These 5 minutes (from Joel Osteen's sister) say almost everything you need to know about the gigantic, slick, well-funded, man-centered and extremely popular apostate church:

  • False definition of a "Pastor."
  • False understanding of what The Word of God actually is.
  • False understanding of how God speaks.
  • False "Word of Faith" teaching that we can declare and decree things into existence.
  • Complete elimination of God's corrective Word-this "word from god" is more like something from a slick fortune teller who knows how to work the crowd and build up enthusiasm.
  • Puffing up the crowd with false hope and vague promises that can't be tested.
  • Blaspheming God by having the crowd stand up for this lady's "pile of Shemitah" false prophecy but then having them sit down when she (eventually) reads a Bible passage.

Here's the full sermon (after the Lakewood commercials and emotionally manipulative praise music): Lisa Comes - Press Through Until You Breakthrough

Listen to Chris Rosebrough talk about this in more detail here: "A New Low in Apostasy-Fighting for the Faith"

An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?

'Trophy' home tied to Trinity Broadcasting Network sells for $5.15 million

What does TBN do with the 'seed offerings' that their constituents send them in the hopes of buying God's blessings?

According to the Orange County Register part of that blood money went toward the purchase of a:

The 9,467-square-foot house, set on over an acre in the guard-gated Harbor Ridge community...the house has its own large gates, six bedrooms, an elevator, private tennis court, swimming pool and spa and a grassy pavilion area with an outdoor kitchen. In the foyer, a chandelier hangs from a high ceiling. Interiors include a formal library, piano room and bar.

Paula White's Cognitive Dissonance on Human Suffering Needs a Breakthrough

Paula White-Cain, the senior "pastor" of New Destiny Christian Center needs a major breakthrough when it comes to her cognitive dissonance on human suffering. Two recent Facebook posts leave us wondering if she ever did a connect the dots exercise in elementary school.

Below she seems to show empathy and understanding for a woman suffering from an extreme issue of facial bumps.

But then she tells people to simply declare their breakthrough.

This really highlights the lack of depth in the prosperity "gospel" movement. They don't have answers for human suffering. Their understanding of human suffering is about half the breadth of a frog hair, and their ability to provide comfort and a complete perspective on human suffering leaves the hurting hanging in the breeze speaking forth powerless declarations.

The suffering need more than snake oil to sooth pain created by the serpent. They need a comprehensive biblical theology that lets them know the Savior who crushed the serpent's head is always near despite this present suffering they experience.

"Millionaires Who Will Take Our Churches Back"-Michael Chitwood's Depraved Mind

Millionaires need to take back our churches so America can dream again, according to Michael Chitwood. Chitwood, leader of something called Potential Church, claims to be "America's #1 expert and strategist on finance. A successful American businessman, author, philanthropist. educator, motivational speaker and a Christian man."

Chitwood directs people to look to riches as a reason for hope. Scripture directs us away from hoping in riches:

"As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy." 1 Timothy 6:17

God's Word also says that those viewing godliness as a means of gain have a depraved mind and are deprived of the truth:

"Teach and urge these things. 3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound[b] words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, 4 he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and[c] we cannot take anything out of the world.8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs." 1 Timothy 6:2-10
