The climate agenda comes to church

A lot of news pundits have been talking about climate change this week, and pointing to an emerging new leader taking up the mantle of solving global warming: The Pope.

Pope Francis a few weeks ago issued an encyclical, a letter usually addressed to the 1 billion Catholics across the globe. But with his eye toward several global climate change summits scheduled for later this year, the Pope said his letter is addressed to "every person living on this planet," telling the world, "I would like to enter a dialogue with all people about our common home."
