UPDATE: Persecuted U.K. family receives Comfort from Living Waters

We've gotten dozens of prayers and letters of support for a mom who wrote to us about the persecution she is receiving for sharing the light of Christ with children. This weekend after I published the letter from a mom in the U.K.who got in trouble from her school district and child protective services for showing her children Ray Comfort's 180 Movie, Ray contacted us to ask if he could help the woman and her family. We connected the family with Ray, and received the following:

Dear Amy,
I have a wonderful praise report:
Ray Comfort actually wrote a personal letter of support to us!
I cannot wait to show my husband and children, they're still asleep, it is early morning here..
Thank you, thank you for your prayers and support and thank you so much for allowing me to reach out through your program (even though I didn't wish for such attention)! I am worried that me reaching out in this manner could create more problems for us with the powerful movers and shakers in the school leadership and in this small village. Here is Mr. Comfort's letter and I had never noticed that before, but he has a wonderful last name!

To Whom it May Concern:

My name is Ray Comfort. I'm the Producer and Director of the award-winning movie "180."

I'm writing to heartily commend ______ for showing this educational production to their boys.

Millions have already seen it via Youtube (180Movie.com) and it's been screened via television in over 190 countries around the world.

Over one million DVD's have been distributed with 200,000 of those being freely given out in learning institutions in the United States, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.

Major George E. Hood -- the National Community Relations Secretary of the Salvation Army, said of "180" that it's "Emotionally and educationally extremely effective."

Tedd Tripp, author of the best-selling book on raising children, "Shepherding a Child's Heart," said, "Powerful and persuasive. Uncompromising and yet respectful."

Ted Baehr, editor of Hollywood's MovieGuide said, "'180' is not only worth watching but a must show to all of your friends and loved ones....an extremely valuable short documentary and highly recommended."

Many churches throughout the world have screened the movie to their entire congregations. Pastor Jeff Johnson of the 5,000 strong congregation, Calvary Chapel Downey, CA said, "Our congregation loved 180!"

"Life-changing!" Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar - TLC's "19 Kids & Counting"

Too many of today's youth are ignorant of the Holocaust, and when any nation loses sight of history it is bound to repeat it.

Mr. and Mrs. ______ should be highly commended for having the good sense to educate their children, rather than being reprimanded.

Please consider these thoughts. Thank you for your time.

Best wishes,

Ray Comfort
