Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany on October 31, 1517. As we mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we turn our hearts to the topic: Contend: How can you contend for the faith, once and for all delivered to the saints in the midst of a church culture that follows every strange wind of doctrine that comes down the pike?
Friday, August 11
- Schedule TBA
Saturday, August 12

*Talk topics and titles will be announced soon.
Rev. Chris Rosebrough launched both Pirate Christian Radio and Fighting for the Faith in 2008, after doing apologetics ministry for over a decade. He serves as Pastor of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church in Minnesota (AALC).
Matthew Garnett For about 10 years, Matthew served as a minister in the Southern Baptist Church and was ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance. After a stint at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and Biblical Theological Seminary (M.Div.), he studied ancient near-Eastern literature and New Testament at the Claremont School of Theology. As the host of the In Layman’s Terms podcast, Matt warns his fellow laymen of the pitfalls, landmines, and hang ups of the pop-Evangelical world and the theological dead ends of religious liberalism.
Steven Kozar has been a full-time, hyper-realist artist since 1986 (his “real job”). More recently he has become a fierce (yet hilarious) blogger with his Messed Up Church blog and regularly swash-buckles against any heresy that sails the Seven Seas. He has witnessed the Evangelical-decline firsthand since the late 1970s and hopes to be a “pied piper” speaking to the confused, hurting, and frustrated people in the Church. Steve says, “We all need to question the so-called experts!” As "curator" to our Museum of Idolatry, his snarky verbiage is the perfect companion to our Captain’s truth-telling podcast and his writing is found throughout our website. Many of his Watercolor Prints are available in our Bakesale and at stevenkozar.com.
